So World Cup. Spain are out already. I'm quite pleased about that actually. I don't like them. And they have been terrible in the first two games. Australia are also out, I think that's a real shame because, even though they didn't get the results, they played quite well. They seemed like a decent side. Cameroon are also out, I think. I watched the England/Ecuador game last night. I thought it was okay - quite an enjoyable game - but if these two recent friendlies mean anything then I don't think either team are gonna be much of a threat in Brazil come next week (ee! I watched another season finale last night, this time it was "Chicago Fire" - 2x22 - I thought this was a good episode as usual. I felt really sorry for Severide when he missed that kid in that building fire. I guess that kind of thing happens all the time in those kind of situations when there's limited time. Earlier today I booked my train tickets for this coming July's Wolf's Bane 2 convention so I'm all set now! It's exciting. Because the World Cup final falls on that Sunday (typical) I've booked a much later train that I usually would. Hopefully I'll be able to watch the final on the foyer in the hotel or something. So, the new Avril Lavigne video is causing a bit of a stir. I can't comment on the perceived cultural appropriation seen in the video because I haven't watched it, I will say though that the song is horrendous.
